Pictures from our resent visit to Container City

Back in June we visited container city. This project has always held a mythical status for us. Container City is constructed from redundant shipping containers. The first part was completed in 2001. The cabins, or containers are stacked up, joined up and kitted out as live/work apartments. It is situated at trinity Boyd Wharf, opposite the millennium dome. We got to meet with Eric Renolds, the architect who masterminded the project. And had a guided tour. The photographs of the coulerd cabins are the artists live/work bit and the half built silver ones are going to be a swanky office complex. have a look at http://www.containercity.com - our photos are better though
